問：「受歲不和合，得歲不？」答：「要先懺悔然後受歲。若其人不悔，擯出得受。若不肯出眾，當三諫，過三諫不受犯決斷，過四諫犯重。若力能驅，逼出界好。若其不出，當牢閉著一房中，然後受歲無苦，以其非復比丘故。若惡人多，眾所不擯，當避出界。若共受歲，不得歲。」

Question: "If pravāraṇā is received without harmony, does one obtain the rains year?" Answer: "One must first confess, and only then receive pravāraṇā. If that person does not repent, once he is expelled, it may be received. If he refuses to leave the saṅgha, he should be admonished three times; if he does not accept after exceeding three admonitions, he commits an offence of defiance of admonition; after exceeding four admonitions, he commits a grave offence. If there is the strength to drive him out, forcing him out of the sīmā is good. If he does not go out, he should be locked firmly inside a single room, and only then may pravāraṇā be received without harm, because he is no longer a bhikṣu. If the bad people are numerous and cannot be expelled by the saṅgha, one should avoid them and leave the sīmā. If one receives pravāraṇā together with them, one does not obtain the rains year."
