1.88

問：「受歲不和合，得歲不？」答：「要先懺悔，然後受歲。若其人不悔，擯出得受。若不擯出，眾當三諫。過三諫不受犯決斷，過四諫犯重。若力能驅逼出界好。若其不出，當牢閉著一房中，然後受歲無苦，以其非復比丘故。若惡人多，眾所不敵，當避出界。若共受，不得歲。」

Question: "If when receiving monastic age [the assembly] is not in harmony, does one obtain monastic age?" Answer: "One must first repent, and then receive monastic age. If that person does not repent, if he is expelled, it may be received. If he is not expelled, the saṃgha should admonish him three times. If beyond three admonitions he does not accept it, it constitutes a saṃghāvaśeṣa; beyond four admonitions, it constitutes a grave offense. If one has the strength to drive and force him out of the sīmā, that is good. If he does not go out, one should lock him firmly in a room, and then receiving monastic age will be blameless, because he is no longer a bhikṣu. If the bad people are numerous and the community is no match for them, one should avoid them and leave the sīmā. If receiving it together [with them], one does not obtain monastic age."
