「佛子！第四十二地名寂滅心妙覺地常住一相，第一無極湛若虛空，一切種智照達無生有諦始終。唯佛窮盡眾生根本有始有終，佛亦照盡乃至一切煩惱、一切眾生果報。佛一心念稱量盡原，一切佛國一切佛因果、一切佛菩薩神變，亦一念一時知住不可思議二諦之外獨在無二。

"Son of the Buddha! The forty-second ground is called the Ground of Wondrous Enlightenment of the Quiescent Mind, constantly abiding in the single mark, supreme and boundless, serene like empty space; the knowledge of all aspects illuminates and comprehends the beginning and end of non-arising and the truth of existence. The Buddha alone completely fathoms the beginning and the end of the root of sentient beings' existence; the Buddha also thoroughly illuminates and exhausts even all afflictions and the retribution of all sentient beings. In a single thought-moment, the Buddha weighs and fathoms the source; the causes and effects of all Buddhas in all Buddha-lands, and the supernormal transformations of all Buddhas and bodhisattvas, are likewise known and abided in at one time in a single thought, resting uniquely beyond the inconceivable two truths without a second.
