"Son of the Buddha! Once one residing in this rank has made these great vows, one surpasses all ordinary beings outside who practice the ten faiths. Now one further cultivates immeasurable merits: namely, the ten pāramitās and the three empties—signlessness, wishlessness, and the emptiness of existence and non-existence. When the contemplation of emptiness is accomplished, one instantly eliminates [the views of] a self, a person, an agent, and a sentient being; gradually abandons all views, [the distortions of] permanence, bliss, self, and purity, and the fetters of the three realms; and gradually destroys avidyā because all karmic habit-energies are subdued and severed. Densely gathering all wholesome dharmas and the eighty-four thousand prajñāpāramitās, all dharma-gates are contained within my mind, not leaving my mind from thought to thought.
