"Son of the Buddha! The mind of the forty-first ground is called the mind that enters the dharmadhātu. Furthermore, regarding the dharmas practiced by this mind: this refers to using courageous and subduing concentration to enter the samādhi of Dharma light. Entering this concentration, one cultivates ten dharmas: first, learning the inconceivable transformations and supernormal powers of the Buddha; second, gathering a retinue of bodhisattvas; third, re-cultivating the Dharma gates practiced previously; fourth, visiting and greeting all Buddhas in accordance with all Buddha-lands; fifth, parting from the parents that are avidyā; sixth, entering the gate of profound mysteries; seventh, manifesting forms identical to those of the Buddha and manifesting all physical forms; eighth, possessing both kinds of dharmakāya; ninth, having neither of the two habit-energies; tenth, ascending the summit of the mountain of the ultimate truth of the middle way. Therefore, from the abode of generating the aspiration onward, arriving at this single ground, the Stainless Bodhisattva spends immeasurable kalpas cultivating the immeasurable meritorious Dharma gates of the forty minds, and further, from the Joyful Ground, cultivates the immeasurable merit of the two kinds of dharmakāya; only after hundreds of thousands of kalpas is the Dharma treasury filled, and entering the samādhi of the exhaustion of marks, one achieves the stage of all-knowledge, constantly performing the Buddha's deeds. Son of the Buddha! Formerly, in the third dhyāna, I assembled the host of the eight dhyānas and spoke a hundred myriads of kotis of verses on the bodhisattva bound to one last rebirth entering the samādhi of the Buddha-flower; now, by briefly explaining the meaning of a single verse, I open the minds of sentient beings, so that you all may accept and uphold it.
