"Son of the Buddha! The single thought-moment of the signless dharmakāya and jñānakāya of the first ground achieves a hundred myriads of asaṃkhyeyas of meritorious dharmas, doubly illuminating the two truths, with thought after thought stilled within the dharma-stream. The two kinds of dharmakāya cannot be measured by the mind and consciousness of ordinary mortals, how much less those of the second ground, the third ground, up to the Ground of Wondrous Enlightenment! But in terms of the path of responsive transformation, the first ground can have a hundred bodies, a thousand bodies, ten thousand bodies, and even immeasurable bodies. There is bondage and there is liberation; where its dharmakāya rests, thought after thought is stilled within the dharma-stream, so that looking up, it sees no Buddha dharmas or retribution to be sought; looking down, it sees no avidyā or views to be severed, nor sentient beings to be transformed. It is only within the responsive transformation dharmas of worldly truth that a Buddha is seen to be sought, views are to be severed, and sentient beings are to be transformed. Son of the Buddha! One may also say that cultivating the three solid dharmas enters the stage of the noble ones; yet within the dharma-stream, thought after thought is stilled, naturally flowing into the great ocean of wondrous enlightenment. Son of the Buddha! Even the designations of the three worthy ranks and the ten grounds are without name and without mark; it is only because of responsive transformation that the ancient Buddhas' path and Dharma contain the designations of the ten grounds. Son of the Buddha! You should accept and uphold all Buddha dharmas as equal and without difference."
