「假使熱鐵輪，在我頂上旋，
終不為此苦，而發於惡言。
假使熱鐵輪，在我頂上旋，
終不為此苦，毀聖及善人。」

“Even if a wheel of hot iron
were to whirl upon my crown,
I would never, on account of such suffering,
utter harsh words.
Even if a wheel of hot iron
were to whirl upon my crown,
I would never, on account of such suffering,
revile sages and good people.”
