5.24

爾時諸賊還得兩眼，身瘡平復，血變為乳，俱發是言：「我等今者，蒙佛重恩，身體安樂。報佛恩者應當速發阿耨多羅三藐三菩提心。」作是唱已，一切大眾異口同音，而作是言：「諸未安眾生，我當安之；諸未解脫眾生，我當解之；諸未度者我當度之；未得道者，令得涅槃。」

At that time, the bandits regained both their eyes, their bodily sores were healed, and their blood turned into milk. They all uttered these words: "We now, having received the Buddha's profound grace, have bodies at peace and ease. To repay the Buddha's kindness, we ought swiftly to generate the aspiration for anuttarasamyaksaṃbodhi." Having made this proclamation, the entire assembly spoke with one voice, saying: "Those sentient beings who are not yet at ease, I shall set at ease; those sentient beings who are not yet liberated, I shall liberate; those who have not yet crossed over, I shall ferry across; those who have not yet attained the Path, I shall cause to attain nirvāṇa."
