5.42

爾時和上報諸弟子：「汝等辛苦何足言耶？我在家時，荷負眾苦，其事眾多。」時諸釋女長跪白師：「願說在家眾苦因緣。」

Then the upādhyāyikā replied to the disciples: "Why are your hardships even worth mentioning? When I was in household life, I bore many sufferings, and the events were numerous." Then the Śākya women knelt upright and addressed their teacher: "We pray you will tell of the causes and conditions of the many sufferings of your household life."
