5.47

「爾時賊主尋拔刀斫，解斷手足，語其婦言：『汝可還噉？若不食者，當斷汝頭。』爾時其婦以恐怖故，即還食之。既還食已，瞋恚便息。

"The bandit chieftain then drew his sword and hacked it, severing its hands and feet, and said to his wife: 'You eat it! If you do not eat it, I will cut off your head.' At that time, out of terror, the wife ate it. Once she had eaten it, his anger subsided.
