答曰：「諸天所說，何足定義？有諸天各稱一佛為師，亦歸三世諸佛，直以一佛為證耳。」

Answer: "Why should what the devas say be sufficient to establish a definitive principle? There are devas who each designate one Buddha as their teacher while also taking refuge in all the Buddhas of the three times; they merely rely on one Buddha as their witness."
