3.10

At that time, the disciples and followers of the six teachers gathered together and again thought: "Disaster is about to befall us now. Although we proclaimed these words among the crowd, they did not believe or accept them. We should now go again into the assembly of devas and humans and make such declarations, so that the truth may be made known." Having thought this, the six teachers, together with their eight thousand followers, surrounding them before and behind, went to the great assembly; having arrived, they withdrew and sat to one side.
