4.40

無明藏大海，攝持上煩惱，
譬如種持子，故名為子藏。

The great ocean of avidyā's storehouse
Maintains and upholds the superior defilements,
Just as a seed holds a sprout;
Hence it is called 'the receptacle of seeds.'
