7.15

已說合說契當安立門，次說顯示法說生解門。於此門中如其次第，法說合喻生行者解，應審思擇，文相明故不須別釋。如本真如之法體性空淨，而有無量煩惱染垢，若人雖念真如，不以方便種種修習，亦無得淨，以垢無量無邊遍一切法，故修一切善行以為對治故。

Having explained the portal of establishing the matching [of metaphors], next is explained the portal of revealing the teaching of the Dharma to produce understanding. In this portal, in corresponding sequence, the teaching of the Dharma matches the metaphors to generate the practitioner's understanding. One should scrutinize and examine it; because the textual presentation is clear, no separate explanation is needed. Thus the original [text] states: 'Although the essential nature of the dharma of tathatā is empty and pure, there are immeasurable defilements and impurities of affliction. Even if a person contemplates tathatā, if they do not cultivate it through various skillful means, they will also not attain purity. Because impurities are immeasurable and boundless, permeating all dharmas, one cultivates all wholesome practices as an antidote.'
