9.33

已說誦經門，次說阿呼門。以何義故建立此門？謂能成事要言說故。此義云何？若為成事須餘言語即不成就，若成事時作如是說阿呼阿唱即便成就。所以者何？不共說故。以此義故立阿呼門。

Having explained the approach of sūtra recitation, next I shall explain the approach of 'Aho'. For what reason is this approach established? Because achieving a deed requires essential speech. What does this mean? If achieving a deed were to require other words, it would not be accomplished; but when achieving the deed, if one speaks in this way, 'aho' and 'accha', it is immediately accomplished. Why is this? Because it is unshared speech. For this reason the approach of 'Aho' is established.
