9.34

已說阿呼門，次說勸請門。以何義故建立此門？為作禮故。此義云何？為有所為仰自上人更勸請故。以此義故立勸請門。

Having explained the approach of 'Aho', next I shall explain the approach of supplication. For what reason is this approach established? To pay homage. What does this mean? When one has an aim, one looks up to one's superior and further supplicates him. For this reason the approach of supplication is established.
