已說造作天像差別門，次說造作菩薩形相門。就此門中亦具六門，然通及別差別而已。通謂禱祀門、神呪門、阿呼門、勸請門。別謂造像門、誦經門。別相二中初造像門其相云何？謂如前說九種處中，各誦陀羅尼神呪故。各其相云何？若為造作頭像時中，即誦呪言：

Having explained the distinct approaches to fashioning deva-images, next I shall explain the approach to fashioning the bodily forms of bodhisattvas. Within this approach there are also six approaches, differing only in being general or specific. The general are the approach of sacrificial worship, the approach of dhāraṇī mantras, the approach of 'Aho', and the approach of supplication. The specific are the approach of image-making and the approach of sūtra recitation. Between the two specific characteristics, what is the characteristic of the first, image-making? It is that, as previously explained, in the nine locations one recites their respective dhāraṇī mantras. What are their respective characteristics? When fashioning the image of the head, one then recites the mantra saying:
