Having spoken of the aspect of revealing the remedy for the view of dharmas, next is spoken the aspect of revealing the absolute transcendence of both negations. As for the aspect of revealing the absolute transcendence of both negations: if there are sentient beings who eliminate the two attachments and realize the two emptinesses, they penetrate that for all dharmas the path of words is cut off and the place of mental activity has ceased; cutting off cutting-off, they illumine stillness; ceasing ceasing, thoughts stop, having nothing to reach. As the basic text states: 'Furthermore, as for ultimate freedom from deluded clinging, one should know that defiled dharmas and pure dharmas are all mutually dependent, and have no individual characteristic that can be spoken of. Therefore, all dharmas are from the beginning neither matter nor mind, neither wisdom nor consciousness, neither existent nor non-existent, and their characteristics are ultimately ineffable,' down to the extensive explanation: 'causes the mind to arise and cease, not entering real wisdom.'
