經曰：八解脫空寂清淨句義是菩薩句義，八勝處、九次第定、十遍處空寂清淨句義是菩薩句義。
The Sūtra says: The phrase-meaning of the empty, tranquil, and pure eight liberations is the phrase-meaning of the bodhisattva; the phrase-meaning of the empty, tranquil, and pure eight bases of mastery, nine sequential meditative attainments, and ten totality bases is the phrase-meaning of the bodhisattva.
