3.56

經曰：告金剛手菩薩等言：若有得聞如是般若波羅蜜多清淨理趣，信解受持讀誦修習，雖住一切貪嗔癡等客塵煩惱垢穢聚中，而猶蓮華不為一切客塵垢穢過失所染。

The Sūtra says: he addressed the Bodhisattva Vajrapāṇi and the others, saying: "If anyone hears such a pure guiding principle of the Prajñāpāramitā, faithfully understands, upholds, recites, and cultivates it, although they dwell amid the heap of adventitious defilements, stains, and taints such as all greed, anger, and delusion, they are like a lotus flower, undefiled by the faults of all adventitious stains and taints.
