The Sūtra says: he addressed the Bodhisattva Vajrapāṇi and the others, saying: "If anyone hears such a profound guiding principle of the Prajñāpāramitā, faithfully understands, upholds, recites, and cultivates it, even if they were to kill all sentient beings subsumed within the three realms, they would not on account of this fall into the hells, animal realm, or ghost realm, because they can subdue all defilements, secondary defilements, bad karmas, and so forth.
