述曰，此釋第二依言離言相也。「不應取法」者，不應如聲取法，謂不如言而取故；「不應取非法」者，隨順第一義智正說，如是取者，謂必因言而悟真故。

The commentary says: This explains the second [part], the marks dependent on words and transcendent of words. "One should not grasp phenomena" means one should not grasp phenomena according to the sound—that is, not grasping them according to the words. "Nor should one grasp non-phenomena" means grasping in conformity with the correct exposition of ultimate wisdom—that is, one must inevitably awaken to the real by means of words.
