1.63

經。是故不應取法不應取非法　後文辨異也。文中有二。初正簡後引證。此文初也。此中文意欲明證信。離法非法不同向前所說此信。不應取法者。不應如聲取法也。不應取非法者。隨順第一義智正說如是取也。

[Sūtra:] "Therefore one should not grasp at dharmas, nor should one grasp at non-dharmas." The subsequent text distinguishes differences. In the text there are two parts: first, directly distinguishing, and next, citing proof. This passage is the first. The meaning of the text here is to elucidate the faith of realization, which, being free from dharmas and non-dharmas, is unlike the faith spoken of previously. "One should not grasp at dharmas" means that one should not grasp at dharmas in accordance with sounds. "Nor should one grasp at non-dharmas" means that grasping is like this in conformity with the correct teaching of the wisdom of the ultimate truth.
