述曰，此第三示勸也。「應如是生清淨心」者，謂應修習淨智、淨識清淨心。「不應住色等生心」者，謂不於外形相起莊嚴心。「應無所住而生其心」者，謂要以智證於無住，無住即無因也。

The Commentary says: This is the third [part], instruction and exhortation. 'Should produce a pure mind in this way' means that one should cultivate the pure mind of pure wisdom and pure consciousness. 'Should not produce a mind abiding in forms, etc.' means not giving rise to a mind of adornment toward external concrete forms. 'Should produce a mind without any abiding' means that one must realize non-abiding through wisdom; non-abiding is non-causation.
