2.116

述曰，此遮虛說也。初、遮他言，次、成無得，此初也。如來既真如，豈言說而稱實？故若說者，是不實語，但是分別故。

Commentary: This refutes false assertions. First, it refutes the assertions of others, and next, it establishes non-attainment; this is the first. Since the Tathāgata is tathatā, how could verbal speech match reality? Therefore, if someone speaks thus, it is untruthful speech, being merely conceptual discrimination.
