謂疑曰：「若諸佛以無為法得名，云何諸佛成就八十種好、三十二相而名為佛耶？」解云，此於前說云如來者，即諸法真如以生疑也。就此之中有二：初、破於色身生疑；次、破於相好生疑。前中復二，初、佛問，次、善現答，此初也。

That is, the doubt asks: "If the Buddhas acquire their name through unconditioned phenomena (asaṃskṛtadharmas), how is it that the Buddhas accomplish the eighty minor signs and thirty-two major marks and are named Buddhas?" The explanation says: this arises as a doubt regarding the earlier statement that the Tathāgata is the tathatā of all dharmas. Within this there are two: first, refuting the doubt arising regarding the physical body; next, refuting the doubt arising regarding the major marks and minor signs. Within the former there are again two: first, the Buddha asks; next, Subhūti answers. This is the first.
