然此喻中含其二意，一者、聚塵為界喻，如攝指成拳；二者、散界為塵喻，如開拳作指。初、名聚喻，次、名開喻。

Now, within this metaphor two meanings are contained: first, the metaphor of gathering dust into a world, like drawing fingers together to make a fist; second, the metaphor of dispersing a world into dust, like opening a fist to make fingers. The first is called the gathering metaphor; the second is called the opening metaphor.
