偈云「雖言無記法，而說是彼因，是故一法寶，勝無量珍寶。」論云「以離所說法不能得大菩提故，此法能為菩提因。」又言「汝法是無記，而我法是記，是故勝捨無量七寶。」

The verse says: / 'Though called an indeterminate dharma, / it is taught to be its cause; / therefore, a single dharma-jewel / surpasses immeasurable rare treasures.' / The treatise says: 'Because apart from the spoken Dharma one cannot attain great bodhi, this Dharma can serve as the cause of bodhi.' It also says: 'Your dharma is indeterminate, but my Dharma is determinate, therefore it surpasses the relinquishment of immeasurable seven jewels.'
