○十三、斷無因則無佛法疑。於中三：初、斷一向無佛疑。論云「若無菩提即無諸佛如來，有如是謗，謂一向無佛。為斷此疑故，云如來者即是真如。」

13. Severing the doubt that if there is no cause, there is no Buddha or Dharma. Within this there are three parts: first, severing the doubt that there are entirely no Buddhas. The treatise says: "If there is no bodhi, there are no Tathāgata Buddhas; there is such slander saying that there are entirely no Buddhas. In order to sever this doubt, it is said that the Tathāgata is indeed tathatā."
