The treatise says: "Among all the practices I cultivated at that time, there was not a single dharma by which anuttarā-samyak-saṃbodhi was attained." The *Guṇaprabhā Treatise* cites the Buddha's words, stating: "'If one sees the Buddha, one sees one's own body. Seeing the body as pure, seeing the Buddha as pure, seeing all sarvajñā-jñāna as pure, and within this, seeing that pure wisdom is also pure—this is called seeing the Buddha. Seeing Dīpaṅkara Tathāgata in this way, I attained the patience of non-arising, and all sarvajñā-jñāna became clearly manifest before me; thus I immediately received the prediction. The sound of this prediction did not reach my ears, nor was it something knowable by other wisdoms; at that time I was also not stuporous or unperceiving, yet there was nothing attained.'"
