1.73

住一十八下。約二論以敘歎。準無著論中，從佛正說已下，乃至經終分，為十八住處。謂第一發心住，乃至第十八上求佛地住。即是修大乘行人，從因至果安住之處。

From "abiding in the eighteen" onward: Introducing and praising [the text] on the basis of the two treatises. According to Asaṅga's treatise, from where the Buddha begins the main discourse down to the end of the sūtra, it is divided into eighteen abodes. That is, the first is the abode of generating the aspiration [for bodhi], down to the eighteenth, the abode of seeking the Buddha stage above. These are the abodes where practitioners cultivating the Great Vehicle abide from cause to fruit.
