河沙珍寶者，即經云：「如恒河中所有沙，有如是等恒河，是諸恒河沙寧為多不？乃至此福德勝前福德。」
"Precious jewels like the sands of the Ganges": that is, the sūtra says: "If there were as many Ganges Rivers as the sands in the Ganges River, would the sands in all those Ganges Rivers be many or not? ... Even up to this merit surpassing the previous merit."
