2.45

夫為凡小，佛成正覺者，即菩提樹下三十四心斷結，五分法身初圓，示成正覺也。

"For ordinary people and followers of the small [vehicle], the Buddha attained true awakening": this refers to the severing of defilements with the thirty-four mental states under the bodhi tree, the fivefold dharmakāya first being perfected, manifesting the attainment of true awakening.
