如是下。結揀其機也。意云：若不如是用心，則不可為說。又真諦記說，諦聽離三過失、得三功德。謂離散亂、輕慢、顛倒，如次生聞、思、修三慧也。

From "Thus" onward, it concludes by singling out the suitable capacity. The intent is: if one does not apply one's mind in this way, it cannot be preached for them. Furthermore, Paramārtha's commentary states that listening attentively avoids three faults and gains three merits: namely, it avoids distraction, contempt, and upside-down views, and accordingly gives rise to the three wisdoms of hearing, reflection, and cultivation.
