標勸將陳者。標謂標指，勸謂勸勉，將猶欲也，陳說也。即經云「善男子」等，標也。應如是等者，勸也。標勸之意，意在欲說，故云將陳。即懸指向下正答之文，是故疏云：「我當為汝等也。」

Regarding "indicating and exhorting what is about to be presented": "indicating" means pointing out; "exhorting" means encouraging; "about to" means wishing to; "presented" means spoken. That is, the sūtra's words "good men," etc., are the indication; "should thus," etc., is the exhortation. The intent of indicating and exhorting lies in wishing to speak, hence it says "about to be presented." This refers to anticipating and pointing forward to the text of the direct answer below; therefore the commentary says: "I shall explain for you," etc.
