心心數法等者，對於其城中次第乞已也。乞食不揀貧之與富，觀察豈擇心所心王。
"The mind and mental factors..." and so forth corresponds to "having begged in succession in that city." Begging for food does not discriminate between the rich and the poor; how could contemplation select between the mental factors and the primary mind?
