戒出下。辨三益相。有戒者，不墮地獄、餓鬼、畜生，生四洲、六欲。故戒經云：「欲得生天上，若生人中者，常當護戒足，勿令有毀損。」

"Precepts transcend..." below: distinguishes the characteristics of the three benefits. Those who have precepts do not fall into hell, hungry ghosts, or animals, but are born in the four continents and the six desire heavens. Hence the Vinaya sūtra states: "If one wishes to be born in heaven, or to be born among humans, one should always protect the feet of precepts, not letting them be damaged."
