4.197

不但等者。意謂能生實相有多方便，不必獨說智慧。前云離執此言般若者，由是般若能除執故，前約所斷此約能斷，能所雖異而意不異。

On 'Not only…' and so forth: The meaning is that there are many expedient means capable of generating ultimate reality, and one need not speak solely of wisdom. The previous [passage] spoke of 'departing from clinging', while this speaks of 'prajñā', because prajñā can eliminate clinging; the previous was in terms of what is severed, while this is in terms of that which severs; although subject and object differ, the intention is not different.
