無著下。初二句難。意云一切眾生五性差別，云何皆入無餘涅槃？三分半眾生不得成佛，故云不可得義。
The commentary's 'Asaṅga...': the first two lines raise an objection. The meaning is: sentient beings are differentiated into five spiritual natures; how could they all enter nirvāṇa without residue? Three-and-a-half portions of sentient beings cannot attain Buddhahood; hence it speaks of the 'unobtainable meaning'.
