答：「大心未發即是凡夫，既已發心即名菩薩。善現標舉，約未發心時，故云善男子、善女人。世尊酬答，約已發心後，乃言諸菩薩摩訶薩。」

Answer: "Before generating the great mind, one is an ordinary person; once having generated the mind, one is named a bodhisattva. Subhūti's presentation was in terms of the time before generating the mind, hence he said 'good men and good women.' The World-Honoured One's reply is in terms of after having generated the mind, so he says 'all bodhisattva-mahāsattvas.'"
