5.111

信解。經意云：我為阿羅漢親稟佛言，信解受持不為難事。若當來世濁惡世中，去聖時遠不聞佛說，覽斯遺教信解法空，領受任持依解起行，若斯等類不亦難乎？

Faith and understanding. The intent of the sūtra is: "As an arhat receiving the Buddha's words directly, it is not difficult for me to believe, understand, and uphold them. If in future ages, in a defiled and evil world, far removed from the Sage, [beings] do not hear the Buddha's personal preaching, yet read this bequeathed teaching, believe and understand the emptiness of phenomena, accept, uphold, and put it into practice according to that understanding—are not those of such a sort difficult to find?"
