答：「執則堅著，疑乃不決。若據論意，正是除執，不言斷疑。今疏云斷疑者，若言除執，文勢孤起血脈不貫，故依諸疏以立此疑。」

Answer: "Clinging is firm attachment, while doubt is irresolution. If based on the treatise's meaning, it is precisely eliminating clinging, not speaking of cutting off doubt. Now the commentary says 'cutting off doubt' because if one said 'eliminating clinging', the momentum of the text would arise in isolation and the lineage of thought would not cohere; therefore, following various commentaries, it establishes this doubt."
