云何下。結成疑也。然燈，即是釋迦因地，第二劫滿所遇之佛，既於彼處行菩薩行，云何乃言無發心者？
"How could..." below: concluding and forming the doubt. Dīpaṃkara is precisely the Buddha whom Śākyamuni encountered at the completion of his second [asaṃkhyeya] eon during his causal stage. Since he practiced the bodhisattva practice at that place, how could it be said that there is no one who gives rise to the mind?
