謗者。即損減過也。若言無佛，是真謗佛也。《大論》云：「寧起有見，不起無見」等。

"Slander" means the fault of diminution. If one says that there is no Buddha, this is true slander of the Buddha. The Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa says: "Better to give rise to a view of existence than to give rise to a view of non-existence," and so forth.
