非無。經徵意云：若無菩提則無有佛，以何義故得有如來？釋意云：若無真如則無有佛也。以真如是佛故。今真如本有，復何疑焉？

"Not non-existent." The meaning of the sūtra's questioning inquiry is: If there is no bodhi, then there is no Buddha; for what reason, then, can there be a Tathāgata? The meaning of the explanation is: If there were no tathatā, then there would be no Buddha, because tathatā is the Buddha. Since tathatā is fundamentally existent, what doubt could there be?
