偈云下。兼釋後段嚴土之義，以文意鉤鎖故聯而引之也。初句標，次二句釋，後一句結。意云：真界平等擬心即差，既生其心豈非顛倒？經中作如是言即生心也，是意言故。

"The verse says..." and so forth simultaneously explains the meaning of adorning lands in the subsequent passage; because the ideas in the text are interlinked, they are cited together. The first line sets it out, the next two lines explain it, and the last line concludes it. The meaning is: In the equality of the true realm, if one stirs thought, there is immediately error; since one gives rise to that thought, how could it not be inverted? In the sūtra, "makes such a statement" is precisely the arising of thought, which is a mental word.
