大雲下。顯無著科意。三世既空，憑何有我執，我既不出離，達無我者必出離也。故偈云：「觀根及受用，觀於三世事，於有為法中，得無垢自在。」

From "Great Cloud" onward, it reveals the intention of Asaṅga's outline. Since the three times are already empty, what can grasping to a self rely upon? Since the [clinging to] self does not allow renunciation, one who penetrates selflessness is sure to achieve renunciation. Therefore the verse says: "Contemplating the sense faculties and their enjoyment, and contemplating the affairs of the three times, amidst saṃskṛta phenomena, one attains undefiled mastery."
