虛妄等者。見有我故名為我見，體實無故乃云虛妄，虛妄無實元是不見，如繩處見蛇豈是實見？
Regarding "false" and so forth: because one views there to be a self, it is called "self-view"; because its essence is fundamentally non-existent, it is called "false." Being false and devoid of reality, it is fundamentally not a seeing at all—just as seeing a snake in place of a rope, how could that be real seeing?
