1.100

真如法體離有無相、離言說相，豈可以耳聞、心得耶？當知樹下得道、諸會說法，但應身耳，其報身、法身無得、無說。然應即法報、說即無說，是故不可以有取、不可以無取也。

The substance of the Dharma of suchness is divorced from the marks of existence and non-existence, and divorced from the marks of words and speech; how could it be grasped by the ear hearing it or the mind conceiving it? One should know that attaining the Way under the tree and teaching the Dharma in various assemblies belong only to the nirmāṇakāya; his saṃbhogakāya and dharmakāya have no attainment and no teaching. Yet the nirmāṇa is precisely the Dharma and saṃbhoga, and teaching is precisely non-teaching; therefore one cannot grasp it as existent, nor can one grasp it as non-existent.
