此一段名四果離著，論云：「向說無佛果可成、無佛法可說，云何四果各取所證而說？恐起此疑，故佛約此而問，善現皆答以離著，深會佛之意也。」

This section is called 'The Four Fruitions Free from Attachment'. The treatise says: "Previously it was said that there is no Buddha-fruition to be achieved and no Buddha-dharma to be preached; how then could each of the four fruitions grasp at what they realize and speak of it? Fearing that this doubt would arise, the Buddha therefore inquired according to this, and Subhūti answered them all in terms of freedom from attachment, deeply according with the Buddha's intent."
